I appreciate all the effort, work and energy for the events you invited us to. because of you guys I was asked to step out of my comfort zone with social interactions. I owe you a lot for the skills I have. Thank you for everything!!
The first time I met YAVP was way back when I was in CIP! for as long as I can remember they have been soooo kind and nice to me and I am so thankful!
Thank you so much : )
Part of the reason I'm at North Crossing is due to not likeing change and not being open to new places and social situations. But you guys have definitely helped me get over that fear. By suggesting that I and everyone at NC participate in things such as Blue Man Group, spring dance and Canobie Lake Park. You are insperations to people who have struggled. Thank you so much for everything.
Most of my life I have struggled with socializing and finding ways to break the ice. However, thanks to you YAVP, I have had the priviledge of getting to break the ice and get to know a group of wonderful, caring and helpful individuals. In you taking the time to meet and reach out to my program, I was able to be part of an experience I will remember and that has changed my life for the better!!
I really appreciated all the things you guys did for me while I was at North Crossing and CIP. I had a lot of fun at Canobie Lake Park and socials. You guys helped me learn some valuable skills.
Thanks.
Coming to YAVP has shown me that I can be successful, even having gone through struggles. I have learned how to be confident and asseritve in social situations. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out and thank you for puting so much effort and time into puting together activities for us.
Testimonials From Parents
What a great event last night (the documentary premier). Congratulations. **** was glad he went and had a great time. I was amazed when we were together in the food line and he said :I'm going to say hello to some people:, and off he went. I saw him talking to one person after the other and looking very happy. That was really a first for me to see him initiate social interactions like that. It was great!!! I'm so very grateful for what you and the other people at the YAVP program have done for him and are continuing to do for him and others in his situation.
